This top-down, raglan sweater was designed to fit a visiting 11” tall elf. With a smidge of positive ease and a slightly cropped profile, this free Elf On The Shelf sweater pattern is appropriate for all situations, including hiding in tight spots, sneaking sweet treats, plotting mischievous acts, and, well, sitting on shelves. Plus, it looks great in Instagram photos.

ABOUT THE PATTERN

SIZE
3.25" (8.5 cm) tall and 3" (8 cm) wide. 

YARN
20 yards (18 m) of sport weight yarn. 

Sample shown in: Ewe Ewe Yarns - Ewe So Sporty (sport weight; 100% superwash merino wool; 145 yard (133 m)/50 g) in Iris Blossom colorway.

NEEDLES
US 2.5 (3 mm) double points 

GAUGE
13 sts = 2" (5 cm) in stockinette sts in the round.

NOTIONS: 

• 4 stitch markers
• small stitch holder (for putting sleeves on hold)
• tapestry needle to weave in ends
• tiny hangers (optional, but highly encouraged)
• clothes rack (also optional, but highly encouraged)
